Day 140: America’s Hometown

Summer

time of year

Today we’re in Cooperstown, NY to visit a friend. We walked through town, got sandwiches and sat at a park along Otsego Lake and then at the beautiful historic Otsego Hotel and caught up. Nicknamed “America’s hometown”, Cooperstown has small-town charm, breweries, bakeries, art and world-class attractions including the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum. The baseball hall of fame really wants you to have a good time – they have several friendly people stationed outside ready to welcome you, take your family’s picture, and hold the door open for you to go inside.
