Watkins Glen State Park is the most famous of the Finger Lakes State Parks. There are 19 waterfalls in under 2 miles, surrounded by 200’ cliffs.

We lucked out by arriving in Connecticut just as the fall foliage reached its peak color. That, coupled with the architectural style of the area, made us feel a like we were driving through some iconic fall movie set.
